Culver City Art Walk

The City of Culver City will present the fourth annual ARTWALK Culver City on Saturday, May 30, 2009.

I cut and pasted that sentence from the city website, but now that I read it it sounds a bit redundant. Anyway, over forty galleries will be open from 12noon to 6pm and selected galleries will remain open until 8pm that evening(including LeBasse Projects which is where my new painting will be hanging.

Come by and take a look. It should be a great show with all new paintings from all your favorite boys and girls. 6023 Washington Blvd Culver City, CA 90232.

done..?

I've been playin around with this one for a while now. I'm not used to painting environments so I'm kind of learning as I go. It's hard to say, "I'm done" with this one cause I'm constantly battling myself to add and subtract. For now, I think I'm about finished, but I guess you'll have to wait and see the final product in person at the Culver City Artwalk at the end of the month. :)

The Kids Are Alright

I went down to the new and improved Subtext Gallery in San Diego last weekend to check out the "kids are alright" tour. If you don't know about it, its a group show of new artists, most of which i think are still in school, going across the world with a new painting each show. I really liked what they came up with in SD. Check out the show blog for more info.

I think maybe Jeremy's been takin his kids to Disneyland a little too often. :)

Oh yeah

I'm sure, due to my lack of posting, that nobody reads my blog anymore. But just in case, I thought I would mention that I'm back to work. ;)

Hello again...and Goodbye

Not that this guy needs my support to get people interested in his work, but make sure to check out Yoskays show this Saturday. The show is called Hello and Goodbye and it's opening over at Lebasse Projects at 7. I would get there early...should be a pretty good sized crowd. Check out this video by Jeremy for a little preview.
