You know what Nate - that was the first thing I thought when I saw those shots from Bakers opening. Animals masks are fairly common objects and so obviously can't be copyrighted (silly Jeff Koons!) but everything about their execution looks like your originals. It's too close a resemblance.
I went to baker's show the other day, they're nothing compared to yours!
Not sayin the guy ripped me off at all. He has probably never even seen my work. Just saying I'm jealous of the fact that we did similar things and he's a millionaire...and I definitely am not. :)
Heh - you are much less suspicious and cynical than me then :)
I am glad you have raised this subject and I totally agree with Lindsey. It's actually rather obvious, imo. Where did you get the numbers for the sales from? Sounds somewhat excessive for Charming Baker and it's not likes these are Ai WeiWei's animal heads.
I can't swear by the numbers. I had heard a couple things about him recently...then I saw someone post about him becoming super famous super quick, so i followed an online trail to see more work and came across his new show and read about the big sales.Just saw some more recent work from you too, Lindsey. Looking beautiful. :)
